Who should participate?

The Family and Friends CPR Course is aimed at members of the public, family members, relatives and friends of adults and children at risk for sudden death. It is ideal for laypersons with no prior medical knowledge who want to learn life saving rescue skills for their loved ones.

Course Content & Duration

The Course provides a basic orientation to the skills of CPR and choking for adults, children and infants, and how to activate the emergency services.

Course Duration & Format

It is a 3hour course. Training includes an introductory theory session followed by an instructor led practical/hands-on demonstration by each participant to enable them gain mastery of the skills.

Each participant is issued a certificate of recognition duly signed by the training centre director at the end of the training.

No test or examination is required
